A private holiday villa in Diani Beach
Zavani is a privately owned holiday home of around 300 sqm, tucked into the quiet Coconut Grove I estate on Diani Beach. A walled tropical garden of bougainvillea, coconut palms, pawpaw and banana trees wraps around the house and the swimming pool, so days here drift along at their own pace - breakfast in the shade, an afternoon in the water, dinner on the veranda as the ocean breeze picks up.
Six bedrooms across the main house and guest cottage sleep up to ten, which makes it easy holiday accommodation in Kenya for families and groups of friends. The beach is about 300 metres away, a five-minute barefoot stroll, and Shimba Hills wildlife reserve is under an hour by car. A chef and house lady are included, so nobody has to spend their holiday in the kitchen.

White sand, warm ocean, easy days
Diani Beach is famous for its powdery white sand and clear turquoise water, and from Zavani it is only a 300-metre walk. Snorkel or kitesurf over the reef, wander to a beach café for fresh seafood, head off on a wildlife excursion to Shimba Hills, take a dhow trip at sunset - or simply do nothing at all.

Bernd is originally from Germany and has been welcoming guests to Diani Beach for more than eleven years. He speaks English and German, and looks after the villa alongside a small local team - a chef, a house lady and a garden and pool attendant - who take real pride in making every stay feel personal.

A wonderful house with a lovely garden and pool, very close to the beach. Bernd was always reachable and helped with everything. The staff looked after us beautifully.
Spacious, comfortable and full of character. The chef cooked fantastic meals for us every day - we did not want to leave.
The pictures don't do it justice - it's so much more beautiful in person. Walking distance to the beach, the entire staff was hospitable and kind, and the kids loved the pool. We'd come back and stay longer.
